Battlefield 6 tier lists
Weapons, classes, and vehicles ranked for the live Season 4 sandbox.
A Battlefield 6 tier list is only useful if it names the playlist and the patch. This hub splits the ranking work so a sniper debate does not bury Engineer repair value. Use the weapon tier list for guns, the class tier list for roles, and the vehicle tier list for hulls. Then copy a matching kit from loadouts.
The lists below assume Season 4: Pacific Front, after gunplay update 1.3.3.0 and the naval launch on July 21, 2026. Tsuru Reef and Wake Island pull the meta toward controllable mid-range rifles, LMGs that can hold a beach, and SMGs that still win interiors. A Saints Quarter ranking would look different. If the map pool in your region is mostly street maps tonight, weight close-range weapons higher than this hub’s default.
How we rank
- Availability — a Battle Pass gun you do not have yet is not S-tier for you. The Season 4 page tells you how EF88, BROD 3, VSSM, and the Interdictor unlock.
- Map fit — Firestorm and Tsuru Reef reward velocity and optics. Empire State rewards SMGs and shotguns.
- Skill floor — a sniper that needs perfect headshots is not the same rank as an LMG that wins by existing.
- Class tax — in closed-weapon playlists the signature gun is the ranking that matters. In open playlists, carbines invade every class. The class guide explains the lock.
We do not rank cosmetics. We do not rank Portal mutators. We do not pretend a 4v4 Strikepoint pick is a 64-player Conquest pick.
Quick take for tonight
If you queue large maps: M16A4, KORD 6P67, RPK-74M / KTS100 MK8, and a competent Engineer SMG such as SGX. If you queue infantry cages: SGX, PW5A3, shotguns, and Support with smokes. If you queue Pacific water: the vehicle list matters more than a 2% TTK gap on rifles — read vehicles and bring an Engineer.
Recon stays high-skill and map-dependent. Support stays the easiest way to change a round without winning every duel. Assault stays the default for people who want to shoot. Those sentences are expanded on the class tier list.
How to use a tier list without wrecking your unlocks
Do not prestige a D-tier gun because a streamer used it once. Mastery XP is a resource. Pick one S or A gun per class you actually play, finish its attachments, then experiment. Hardware XP weekends, flagged on codes, are when you level the weird pick.
Patch days can move a single attachment without rewriting the whole list. Update 1.4.2.5, for example, stopped Match Trigger from affecting full-auto on BROD and EF88. That is a build note, not a new meta. Read patch notes before you rebuild every class.
If you are brand new, this hub is optional. Getting started and a single class will raise your score more than swapping M4A1 for KORD. Come back when you have a rank, a favorite map, and a reason to care about TTK charts.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common Battlefield 6 questions.
What is S-tier in Battlefield 6 right now?
On large Season 4 maps: controllable rifles and LMGs (KORD, M16A4, KTS100 / RPK-74M) plus SGX in CQB. Full breakdown on the weapon tier list.
Do these ranks apply to REDSEC?
Partly. The gunsmith is shared, but armor and loot change TTK. See REDSEC before you copy a Conquest list into the royale.
How often do you change the list?
After patches that touch gunplay or when a new map shifts ranges. Watch patch notes and Season 4.
